Quote from NEWS :On the track, Bahrain is going to be all about tyre wear, as this is a tight circuit which places a high premium on tyre performance and conservation, and where the surface offline is always dirty thanks to the sandy environment.

Guys comeone,

Right I know this isn't any of my bussness but i've read the last 4 pages of the thread and the fact you cannot give any sympathy to a person who as a person has single handingly ran a company for 5 stright years without a single break apart from the days where he HAS TO take a break.

Now listen there is one person who is here to help you all you need to do is WAIT YOUR TURN. If not what is the point of him helping you on his OWN TIME to get you up and running?

And to be honest I think people today are all focused on getting thigns they want when they pay for something but if you are given a reason to why that single techinican isn't here to help you sort the problem you should RESPECT That reason and NOT disrespect that reason like its a piece of "*(*%"( on the road. Franky is here to help and run a service that is paramount to Live For Speed! Don't treat him like a piece of *"%*(".

Without going any further that is all I want to say.

Qualifying - Hamilton heads McLaren one-two 17 Mar 2012

McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button got their 2012 world championship campaign off to the best possible start as they took the top two positions on the grid for the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park on Saturday evening, and just to make things even better for the Woking team, Romain Grosjean put his Lotus third ahead of Michael Schumacher’s Mercedes and the Red Bulls of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel.

Nobody got near to Hamilton’s 1m 24.922s, but Button’s 1m 25.074s put him ahead of Schumacher, who had improved to 1m 25.336s. The German’s time, however, was not sufficient to resist Grosjean’s 1m 25.302s, making it a tremendous return to full-time Formula One racing for the Frenchman.

For once the Red Bulls had no answer to their opposition, and Webber’s 1m 25.651s just edged out Vettel’s 1m 25.668s, with Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg a disappointing seventh on 1m 25.686s.

Pastor Maldonado will have his best Grand Prix start with eighth for Williams, on 1m 25.908s, while Nico Hulkenberg put his Force India ninth on 1m 26.451s. Daniel Ricciardo will start 10th for Toro Rosso, but did not record a time, as the team conserved rubber.

Earlier, Q2 had got off to a dramatic start when Fernando Alonso lost his Ferrari in the entry to Turn One, spearing backwards into the gravel. Just to rub it in for the Scuderia, at that very moment Hamilton and Button put their McLarens first and second, before the session was red flagged for five minutes to recover the F2012.

Right up until the end it seemed that Alonso’s 1m 26.494s might keep him in the top 10, but in the end he was bumped by Hulkenberg and Maldonado.

Jean-Eric Vergne got bumped by his own Toro Rosso team mate Ricciardo, his 1m 26.429s leaving him 11th for his Formula One debut ahead of Alonso, then came Sauber’s Kamui Kobayashi on 1m 26.590s, Williams’ Bruno Senna on 1m 26.663s and a very disappointed Paul di Resta on 1m 27.086s for Force India.

To complete a disastrous day for Ferrari, Felipe Massa was only 16th on 1m 27.497s. It was also a disappointment for Sauber, as gearbox problems kept Sergio Perez from running. He qualified 17th on the grid but, after the team decided to change the box on his C31, he dropped to 22nd.

Q1 had seen the shock elimination of Kimi Raikkonen on his return to F1, as he got caught out on the hard tyres as the rest of the field switched to softs and could only muster 1m 27.758s after a major wobble. Grosjean’s performance only underlined what might have been for the Finn. Behind him, 19th and 20th places were a big disappointment for Caterham, with Heikki Kovalainen on 1m 28.679s and Vitaly Petrov on 1m 29.018s. Marussia were very happy with Timo Glock’s 1m 30.923s, while Charles Pic impressed again with 1m 31.670s in his first F1 qualifying session. After Perez's penalty, however, Raikkonen, Kovalainen, Petrov, Glock and Pic all move up a place on the Melbourne grid.

Neither Pedro de la Rosa nor Narain Karthikeyan passed the 107 percent qualifying time, with 1m 33.495s and 1m 33.643s apiece, and will not race on Sunday.

Karthikeyan, Ricciardo and De la Rosa were investigated by the stewards for allegedly hindering Alonso, Schumacher and Kovalainen respectively. Whilst Karthikeyan and De la Rosa received reprimands, no further action was taken in the Ricciardo case.

It could yet be a long night in Melbourne, however, as there is talk that Red Bull and Lotus may decide to protest the much-talked-about 'F-duct rear wing' on the Mercedes.

Erm, ok people are obviously going to ask questions but (To the people who are running this) this looks VERY DODGY not just saying this because the language looks abit dodgy it all does to be honest. But I would ask myself,

- What am I being asked to pay for?
- Can I afford to lose the money?
- Does it look to good to be true?

Also, by the way have you read the laws surrounding the buying and selling thing? Have you done the research? If so get the website, address, phone number, emails everything cosmeticly needs to be done to make it not look really that dodgy...

Anyways, you had a good start try and keep it up.

Petrov replaces Trulli at Caterham for 2012

Caterham have announced that Vitaly Petrov will race for the team in 2012, replacing Jarno Trulli with immediate effect. Petrov attended a seat fitting at their UK factory in Hingham on Friday morning and will make his debut in the CT01 at next week’s second pre-season test at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya, alongside new team mate Heikki Kovalainen.

“This is a very exciting day for me,” said the Russian. “I would like to thank Tony (Fernandes), Kamarudin Meranun and SM Nasarudin for giving me the chance to join a team that made its F1 debut at the same time as me, and has grown from one of the new teams to a serious force for future honours. The passion and spirit that Tony and the whole team have to keep moving forwards is infectious, and I am honoured to be able to join them and play my part in helping the team mount a serious challenge to the teams ahead in 2012 and for many seasons to come.

“I have been training hard all winter and am ready to get back into the cockpit and go to work. From what I have seen already, our new car is another good step forward from 2011 and now I cannot wait to see how it feels when we get to Barcelona. I would also like to take this chance to thank all my fans and partners for their support and their patience.”

Petrov began his Formula One race career with Renault in 2010 and finished 10th in the 2011 championship, after securing a podium finish in Australia. He was runner-up in the 2009 GP2 Series after spells in GP2 Asia, F3000, Formula Master and the Le Mans Series.

“We are all delighted to welcome Vitaly into our team and are very excited about the role he will play in helping us take the next steps forward in 2012 and for many years to come,” said team principal Tony Fernandes. “When we first met it was immediately clear that Vitaly understands and shares our vision for how we want our team to grow. As the first Russian to race in F1 he carries the hopes of a huge nation with ease and his talents, experience with one of our current competitors and insights on and off track will play a huge role in our development as we fight to join the established teams ahead.”

Petrov’s new role means that Trulli will leave for pastures new after two years with the team and Fernandes paid tribute to the departing 37 year-old, saying: “I want to take this opportunity to thank Jarno for the absolutely pivotal role he played in the formation and progression of our team since he joined us in December 2009. Jarno knew that when he joined us it would be a very different environment to where he had been before, and when we gave him the package he wanted he absolutely shone.

“With that in mind it was not an easy decision to bring Vitaly in to replace Jarno, but it was one we made to ensure that we give fresh impetus across the whole team and with a realistic eye on the global economic market. Jarno has an incredible natural talent behind the wheel, and his winning record and longevity in the sport will bear testament to that talent in the Formula One annals forever, but now it is time to open a new chapter in our team’s story, and Vitaly is the right person to help us do that.

“We have reached agreement with Jarno to bring an end to our partnership with him, but he will always be part of our family. Now we want to integrate Vitaly as quickly as possible into the team, and we will do everything we can to welcome him in, give him a car he can use to showcase his skills, and keep up the rate of development that has seen us go from an empty factory with just four employees to a fully established Formula One team in just over two years.”

Trulli, who drove for the team at last week’s Jerez test, was equally philosophical. “I want to take this chance to thank Tony, Kamarudin, SM Nasarudin, Riad (Asmat), Mike (Gascoyne) and everyone in the team for the two seasons we had together,” he said. “From zero we built up and established a solid F1 team. I'm really proud to have been part of it. I understand the decision the team has made and I want to wish to the whole team the very best of luck for the season ahead.”

The Italian began his Formula One career in 1997 with Minardi and over the next 15 years held tenures at Prost, Jordan, Renault, Toyota and Lotus, which was rebranded as Caterham for 2012. Trulli famously won the 2004 Monaco Grand Prix for Renault, but also amassed 10 podium finishes and 246.5 world championship points.

Perhaps the LFS Developers are not replying to the emails concerning this incident of theft, the POSSIBLE reasons are below.
  • Your account IS your Responsibility!
  • There is absoultly no PROOF of the account being bought
  • No record of your account!
Notice that if you read the T&C's it may say that Live For Speed as a company will not refund and delete your current LFS account and also judging by the amount of EMAILS you sent to the Live For Speed Developers they might have IGNORED your email because of the amount of repeated emails you did send but I must ask the obvious,
  1. Can you give us your LFS S2 Username?
That is all,
